Highway to the Playground

In the comments on my last post, my friend Jennine suggested that I make a music video, so I thought I’d give it a shot. For me, this is a video about the loss of innocence. Kids grow up so fast. If only they could stay little.

A note to more sensitive viewers: the music for this video contains a word some people find objectionable, especially religious people. It’s the common name for the place where you go if you’ve been bad.

Watch this video at your own risk.

I love how it looks like Izza has choreographed her moves to the soundtrack. Well done! I also like the name of your production company. But, can I request an explanation of the soundtrack? Thematically, that is. I just want to know more.

Well, now that Isadora has learned to walk and talk and explore the world, she will begin to live a life of sinfulness, like the rest of us, who fail to live up to the perfection of Jesus Christ.

Actually, I just think it's funny. Isn't it funny? Babies going to hell! What's funnier than that?

And listen to those lyrics:
"No stop signs, speed limit
Nobody's gonna slow me down
Like a wheel, gonna spin it
Nobody's gonna mess me round"

That could be a toddler manifesto.

I'm so happy you already answered my question! If I were a toddler, I would obsessively pepper you with more.

You're right. Babies going to hell...there's nothing funnier. Except for unbaptized babies lingering in purgatory.

Thanks for the illumination! I like further insights into Parenthood According to Rob. You do know, however, that rock and roll is the devil's handiwork, so you may want to cease your dabbling. Thanks.

AWESOME ROB!

One of my favorite Ac/DC songs!

I remember we played the cassette on the way to school on my first day of high school (I was late.)

Way to choreograph.

I had to catch up to you when it came to embedding. Now I have to compete with your prolific video editing skills.

Daunting task!
