Seeing Auntie Laurie in the Parade

This is a video about how much parents build up their kids' expectations for things, and the kids are rarely as excited as we expect them to be. Izza and I and her Aunt Sara and her cousins Naomi and Eliot took a train to something called the Hollidazzle Parade, which is a night parade in downtown Minneapolis, full of lights, in the middle of winter. We went, in part, to see Izza's aunt Laurie who snagged a job as a snowflake in the parade. Izza seems genuinely excited about the whole thing, but I love her reaction when she finally gets to the big event. I have attempted to insert subtitles to make it clear what she's saying. I hope they're not too small to read.
