The Way the Sunlight Plays

So as many of you know, our son Arlo was born this past Thursday. I assumed that this would mean the end of my blogging for a while, if not the end of my everything for a while. But last night, the kid couldn't sleep in his bed, and so I held him in my lap on the couch for three hours. TV was boring, so I decided to edit some more video that was laying around. I am finding that video editing is strangely addictive. Anyway, here is the result.

Consider this a kind of requiem for Isadora's life as an only child. Things in her life will never be this uncomplicated again.

Somehow a title sequence and credits didn't seem appropriate.

Rob, this is really beautiful! You captured that bittersweet feeling perfectly. And the choreography is your best yet.

See? You not only exist...you THRIVE!

I'm being stupid. Anyway, one question on these videos. In what format do you save them? Mine look clear in my "ArcSoft" program, but then when I post them to my blog, they are hella blurry.

(*I have decided to teach Nora all these anachronistic slang words -- hella, rad, diss, wicked, and worst of all, hella's lame-ass cousin, hecka. To practice, I am smattering my own language with such speech.)

Anyway, loved this movie!

I can see this at work now. Apparently blogger.com is unblocked. That's nice.
